For a taste of home-cooked goodness, head down to The Chicken Rice Shop, which despite its name, sells plenty of other familiar dishes. The restaurant, which is certified halal, has just opened its second outlet at Bedok Point.
I just went there with my family recently to have our dinner. As I saw their TV advertisement at one of Malaysia channel, I was craving for their chicken rice. It really make me want to go there and try their chicken rice badly. So I find out that they have their franchise in Singapore. I went to their new outlet and that is at Bedok Point.
Their Hainanese Chicken rice really tasty and delicious. Their chicken so tender and chewy. Their rice taste of fluffy chicken flavored. You should also try their popular signature appetizer, Pai Tee or Top Hats.It is made up of dainty pastry shells filled with shredded vegetables and chicken meat accompanied by a tangy sweet sour sauce. You also can pick a choice of four oyster sauce vegetables to go with your Hainanese Chicken rice.

Seems affordable and tasty judging from the pics. Perhaps you should try the chicken rice from Aspirasi? Cheaper though.
